Why We Built This Site
Kentucky gives the public broad access to many court and government records. The hard part in Scott County is figuring out which office holds the file. The Circuit Court Clerk handles Circuit, Family, and District Court case records from the Justice Center. The County Clerk handles land records, recorded wills, marriage licenses, elections, and motor vehicle services. The Sheriff and Detention Center handle law-enforcement and jail records. State systems handle KYeCourts case access, Kentucky ePay, criminal record reports, expungement certification, and state offender lookup.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
